Estigia announced on Steam and Epic, a puzzler with fights against Greek gods
Estigia, the second game from the studio Dos Estrellas, led by Daniel Navarro Olmedo, has just been announced on Steam and Epic.
Today, 16 September, the studio Dos Estrellas has put up the page for Estigia on Steam, its new game. It is a turn-based sliding puzzler set in a decaying Greek underworld, with eleven deities to defeat and not a single line of text in the whole game.

The premise of Estigia
In Estigia you play as a soul newly arrived in the Greek underworld. It carries no coin to pay the ferryman, so it will have to cross eleven zones on its own to reach the court that will decide its fate.
The core mechanic is built on ice-sliding movement. You pick a direction and slide in a straight line until you hit something. On top of that, blocks, mirrors, lifts and traps turn every map into a problem with one single, specific solution. The world only moves when the player moves, so every action is telegraphed and every mistake is on you.
Each zone is guarded by a deity from the Greek pantheon. Each one fights in its own way and with its own puzzles, forcing the player to adapt their strategy every time.
A game with no dialogue
The game’s most unusual trait is the complete absence of text. There are no tutorials, no written menus and no dialogue: everything is learned by playing. The only text on screen is the name of each zone in the Greek alphabet, the same in every language. That way Estigia needs no translation at all.
The visuals are dark pixel art with a sixteen-colour palette, in an underworld frozen in the classical age whose gods have been corrupting as their followers forgot them. Scattered around the zones you find other lost souls who never made it anywhere.
When does it come out, and on what?
The game is expected to have a playable demo before it launches in 2027. It will also be available on every major platform: PC (Steam and Epic), consoles (Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PS5, Xbox One and Series X/S) and mobile (iOS and Android).
