About me
I write about small games and help them get seen
My name is Lara, and for years I have been doing two things that, looked at closely, are the same one: writing about small games in a way that makes you want to play them, and helping studios and brands sound like people instead of brochures.
On one side there is this site and my channels: reviews, guides and recommendations of cozy and indie games. I play them, I write them, I record them. There is no newsroom behind me and no hidden deals: if something comes through a campaign, the article says so.
On the other side there is client work. I run communities and social accounts: calendar, content, publishing, replies and the report afterwards. I come from practice rather than theory, so what I suggest is what I have already seen work on real budgets, almost always small ones.
The two halves feed each other. Writing about games keeps me on top of what is being released and how it is being told; running client accounts teaches me what actually moves the needle and what only looks good in a slide.
What I am good at
Writing
Articles, guides and press releases in Spanish. My own voice, no filler and no spare adjectives. I also edit and rewrite store pages so that the first screen actually says something.
Short video
Script, edit and publishing of vertical video for TikTok, Shorts and Reels. Including the boring part: thumbnails, titles, descriptions and calendar.
Community
Moderation and replies on Discord, comments and social media. Brand tone written down, so anyone can answer the way I would.
Measuring
Monthly reports you can actually read: what we did, what happened and what we change next month. No dashboard screenshots left unexplained.
